Funding and M&A

ECI Software Solutions, a global provider of cloud-based business management software and services, announced today it has completed the acquisition of Treetop Group, a software company specialized in business software solutions for the residential construction and craft industry in the Netherlands. This marks ECI’s first acquisition in the residential construction industry outside of North America and expands ECI’s European footprint, further broadening its residential construction software portfolio. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

EQT is pleased to announce that the EQT X fund (or "EQT Private Equity") has agreed to invest in the Nordic software companies HVD Group (Hantverksdata) and Next (Next One Technology). Both companies serve the tradespeople and construction industry, with HVD Group focused on installation and service professions – such as electricians, plumbers, heating and ventilation firms – while Next is focused on contractors.

Hilti, a global leader in construction solutions, has recently put a spotlight on their BIM-driven Integrated Project Solutions (IPS), a comprehensive suite of services designed to optimize and simplify construction projects from design, construction and operation phases.

Construction management software vendor Procore Technologies launched its Australia and New Zealand University Programme this month at an event in Sydney co-hosted by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).Under the scheme, Procore provides access to software, training, tools, and certifications at no cost to universities, schools, and colleges.
